Friday Harbor, Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving Mama and Dada and I went to visit Aunt Betsy and Uncle Jim in Friday Harbor. First we drove a LONG, LONG time, so Dad and I were very tired (see photo!)

Then when at last I thought we had finally arrived, we got onto a big ferry boat for a couple of hours.

At last we finally arrived at Friday Harbor. One of the highlights of the weekend was having my first guitar lesson with MamaNonie!

Cute Pics

Daddy needs to shave! But, i still love his tickles. :)

Hooray for snuggles!

I'm not actually asleep here. I was just resting my eyes.

I get really excited when Mommy plays with me.

Here i'm practicing my trademarked Super-Addie® moves.

"What is that thing you're always pointing at me?"

Chillin' on my parent's bed. Ah, yeah.

Just look at these feet i've got! Five toes each! Ya gotta love that.

Holding My Own

Check this out! I've gotten so good at holding things that Dad even let me hold my own bottle for a while today.

I even held it one-handed for a while. Impressive, isn't it?

First Swim!

See that swimsuit i'm wearing? Well, Mom and Dad took me swimming at the Mt. Tabor Community Pool! I was a little nervous at first, but Mommy held me close until i got used to it. It was lots of fun! Dad even took me with him through the river they have. Oh, and my friends Ridley and Hania Liu talked their mom into letting them come too. We didn't get many pictures because the camera batteries died while we were getting changed, but we'll be sure to get more next time.

Hats...

At this point in my life, i have a pretty mixed relationship with these so-called "hats". Some of them make me look pretty cute. Others rely on me to make them cute. All of them sit on my head. It's that last part that i'm not so sure about. Having a hat on my head feels too much like being stuck in one of my parents' "slings" or "baby carriers" (both slang for "cozy but unfair prison"). Sometimes the hats fall down over my eyes. I really don't enjoy that. Still, some of them are pretty darn cute...

Mommy's hat is definitely too big for me.

Hat over the eyes...

The white hat goes great with the jeans and the pacifier!

First Halloween

I couldn't figure out what my parents were up to when they took this shot. But now i know.

Personally, i think i make a better pea in the pod than a sunflower.
(p.s. Neither of these pics were actually taken on Halloween.)
