Ok, Halloween number two is in the bag! It's been several weeks of fun, and i have some pictures and videos to show for it! Click twice on the slideshow below to see them in all their glory! So, i've invented a new game! I call it "Pull All My Clothes Out Then Pick Just A Few To Try Putting On Myself Until Mommy or Daddy Decides To Help Me Put Them On Or I Get Frustrated Or Distracted By Something Else". Good name, eh? Here's a video of one particularly good round of "Pull All My Clothes Out Then Pick Just A Few To Try Putting On Myself Until Mommy or Daddy Decides To Help Me Put Them On Or I Get Frustrated Or Distracted By Something Else", where i got Daddy to help me with several of my favorite articles of clothing while Mommy was busy with Swing Sisters practice. Oh, and if you watch carefully, you'll notice that i also demonstrate several other new skills which some people have complained that i neglected to blog about thus far despite the fact that i've been doing them for a long time now. Sorry!

We had a family camping trip at Farragut State Park in Idaho. I had a lot of fun out on the lake in my Zebra-Raft combo.

Daddy snuck a picture of me during my nap one day. He seems to believe this is an unusual way to sleep. I can't imagine why.
Last Saturday was our church's kickball tournament. The refs wouldn't let me play on my Daddy's team--they said the tournament was for amateurs only--so instead i got to hang out with Mommy and watch the games. And boy did i watch! I never once turned my back on the action. I was so focused that i even forgot to eat the delicious watermelon my parents brought. Can you believe it? And i was even planning to try to eat more of the green part that day! So instead of cute pictures of me eating mushy melon in a sweet summer dress, you'll have to be satisfied with these highlight shots from the best kickball games of the day! Oh, and i should mention that i also didn't play with the other kids, have any snow cone, swim in the kiddie pool, or walk down the slip 'n slide they had set up. That's how much i love kickball! Total focus, even as a spectator!
Mom & Dad took me to the Rheinlander with them as an anniversary celebration. I guess they've been married two years now. I don't know what two years means. Or what anniversary means. But i got a balloon! And there was people playing accordions in funny clothes! And i got to eat some yummy sausage and mashed potatoes and other stuff. The mashed potatoes were great! Did i mention that i liked my balloon! It was orange. I still have it, but it is smaller now.
Time for some long, unedited home videos! Who wants to drink from the firehose?

Sorry, loyal readers and rabid fans. I have been lax in my postings. Blame it on the nice weather, busy parents, laziness, or being harrassed by the paparazzi, whichever seems most likely to you... Still, there's no excuse for depriving you all of my cuteness. But thanks to a storage upgrade for PicasaWeb, here's the first set in a series of pictures without proper posts, in a desparate, "cheating" attempt to get you all up to speed with my exploits over the last three months. So, lately Mommy and Daddy have been taking me hiking with them on Wednesday mornings. It's been a lot of fun! We haven't always thought to bring the camera along, but here's a few pictures of hikes where we did have it. The first three are from our last hike up Rocky Butte. The view from the top is delicious.
Sadly, we don't have any pictures from our most difficult and beautiful hike so far. We went from the base of Wahkeena Falls way up and then over until we came down by Multnomah Falls. It was almost six miles! I got a little grumpy in parts of that hike because my diaper was wet, and i forgot to bring a dry one to put on. 
Thankfully, Daddy was kind enough to let me use his T-shirt as a diaper. It worked amazingly well! But all in all, i had fun and some good napping on that hike too. I still can't believe how beautiful it was!! We were sad not to have the camera. Maybe next time we'll be better prepared...
The last picture here is from one of our first hikes up to the top of Forest Park downtown. I had a lot of fun on that hike and even caught a few ZZZs on the way down.
After church on the day i was dedicated at Mommy & Daddy's church, we went to lunch with the family, and i got to sit at the big table in a high chair by myself for the first time. It was going great until i reached down to find something to chew on and bonked my head. Then my Aunt Jess had to give me snuggles until i felt better.
I got to take a bath in the sink! Mommy says that's because i outgrew my little white and blue bathtub.
It is a brave new world for me. No longer do i merely get tickles and snuggles. I get rides! Here's mommy giving me a horsey ride (of sorts) and an airplane ride. Sometimes I even giggle when Mom or Dad toss me (gently) up in the air. That's still a little scary sometimes though.
