So many friends!
Ok, so among the many things i have neglected to blog about in recent months, are my many new friends! Here's a quick rundown...

This is Grace Regan. So far as i understand, her parents went to see a collage about someone named Will Amitt with my parents. That sounds weird, but at least Grace seems like a lot of fun. I like her taste in clothes.

This strapping young fella is Micah. His Dad also went to see that same collage as my parents. Must have been some collage. Anyway, i thought Micah was nice, so i tried to hold his hand. Unfortunately, my hand-eye coordination and fine motor control were having a bad day, so i only managed to grab his sleeve. Still, i don't think Micah minded.
These are two of my peeps. On the left we have the inimitable Hania Liu. She's totally chill and has the coolest hair i've ever seen on a baby. On the right is the stylish Renatah Ohlson. I seriously dig the stripes. That girl knows cute, let me tell you!
Here's me and my crew again. This time we're all together kickin' it in our car seats. That youngster on my immediate right is Stephanie Wecks. She's still pretty fresh on the scene, but it's been great have her around. She brings some of that fresh, youthful energy us older kids lack sometimes.

Food, Glorious Food!
Check this out! I eat big kid food now! I've got it all, spoons, a bib, a high chair, and a taste for rice cereal! I've also had some carrots and yogurt. So far the rice is still my favorite.

'Tis The Season...
To be busy! Yeah, this is an excuse-for-not-blogging-blog. The most wonderful...ly busy...time of the year even affects babies like me. Not that it hasn't been wonderfully fun too! I've gotten to go all over the northwest, meet new-born friends, and experience all sorts of new "firsts". So much so, that i haven't had time to update this here blog-thingy. Besides, Dad's been hogging the computer for work whenever we're actually at home. Hopefully after the new year arrives Dad will make a little time for me to get you all caught up on my holiday adventures! Until then, stay warm and have a merry Christmas!

Friday Harbor, Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving Mama and Dada and I went to visit Aunt Betsy and Uncle Jim in Friday Harbor. First we drove a LONG, LONG time, so Dad and I were very tired (see photo!)

Then when at last I thought we had finally arrived, we got onto a big ferry boat for a couple of hours.
At last we finally arrived at Friday Harbor. One of the highlights of the weekend was having my first guitar lesson with MamaNonie!

First Swim!
See that swimsuit i'm wearing? Well, Mom and Dad took me swimming at the Mt. Tabor Community Pool! I was a little nervous at first, but Mommy held me close until i got used to it. It was lots of fun! Dad even took me with him through the river they have. Oh, and my friends Ridley and Hania Liu talked their mom into letting them come too. We didn't get many pictures because the camera batteries died while we were getting changed, but we'll be sure to get more next time.

Hats...
At this point in my life, i have a pretty mixed relationship with these so-called "hats". Some of them make me look pretty cute. Others rely on me to make them cute. All of them sit on my head. It's that last part that i'm not so sure about. Having a hat on my head feels too much like being stuck in one of my parents' "slings" or "baby carriers" (both slang for "cozy but unfair prison"). Sometimes the hats fall down over my eyes. I really don't enjoy that. Still, some of them are pretty darn cute...
Mommy's hat is definitely too big for me.

Hat over the eyes...

The white hat goes great with the jeans and the pacifier!
